Should a situation occur with challenging behaviors, I plan to use Restorative Practice questions with the student to talk through the situation. The student, myself, and any other person involved will discuss the situation in order to resolve the problem.
Students will also be able to earn class coins throughout the week for positive classroom behaviors to spend in the class store on Fridays.
Grading Policy:
Each marking period there will be about 12 graded assignments.
Assignments with a percentage grade will be counted as one of those assignments. Every assignment is reviewed by me and is used to assess your child's understanding. If the assignment comes home without a percentage, the assignment will not be taken as a grade.
