InvestiGators is a program for students who enjoy learning and excel by engaging with new materials. Many factors, including iReady Testing scores and teacher rating scales, are compiled to identify highly motivated and academically oriented students. Student achievement, motivation, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, maturity, and enthusiasm towards learning are all taken into consideration when making this decision. This information is then put through a data screening process. InvestiGators is intended to expand the participant's academic skills and present them with new topics and ideas to explore beyond their normal schooling. Invited students participate in this club for the whole year from October to June. Due to the need for student commitment to the program, as well as the limited spots available, there is an attendance policy in place for all participants.
