ABOUT ME
Hello! I am Mrs. Straub and I teach 7th Grade Science. I am proud to be a Gator! This is my seventh year teaching at Allegany. Prior to joining ALCS I taught fifth grade math and science for five years. I have Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters degree in Special Education. I live in Allegany with my husband, three children and two dogs, Turkey and Rumor. I like to trail run with Turkey and go snowboarding at Holiday Valley. I am looking forward to a great school year!
CLASS INFORMATION
I plan to keep my TEAMS pages updated with important dates and upcoming assignments. Study guides, test and project dates will be posted one week in advance (some projects will be posted earlier) of when they are due. Students are also given notice in class of upcoming tests and assignments (and it is posted on the homework board), and project rubrics/study guides are also given out in class.
